Since 1998, I have made a considerable number of short subject documentaries. These were not part of a series, but short movies of 30 seconds to 45 minutes in duration, which turned out to be short, due to either their subject matter or to limited funds or simply because they could not be made longer. Many times they were commissions for screenings on special events and other times they were made on my own initiative about topics that interested me.
Sometimes they developed from discarded footage that was left over from bigger projects and which was put to good use and got a life of its own in a shorter subject.
These works are only a selection from a body of over fifty short documentaries.
