Here, I attempted to merge under this vague and rather unsuitable title, literature, cinema, folklore and visual arts that are categorized in the fantasy genre.
I had always been fond of Fantasy Film (having made two short films in that genre), but also of Fantasy literature and I wanted to make a special hybrid bringing together Greek enthusiasts of that outcast genre which had always been misunderstood in our country and regarded as second-rate.
The result, despite the very good interviews, was unsatisfactory. It was too factual and not engaging at all, except for a few moments.
I remember the imposing personality of Thanasis Tzavaras, as well as the delightfully mercurial Makis Panorios with whom we remained friends for a while and who later on played, in friendly participation, a small but noticeable role in "Alemaya".
